This is the first video with which we will begin to describe the applications of some
Eureka Kits in HPLC and how thanks to HPLC with our of diagnostic kits
you can solve some of the Major Problems encountered in clinical laboratories.
Regarding the various PROBLEMS that arise in labs, I invite you to download
and read the “MANUSCRIPT”.
So now let’s begin with CATECHOLAMINES IN URINE
or rather of Noradrenaline, Adrenaline and Dopamine.
These are hormones produced by the adrenal glands
which greatly increase their concentration in biological fluids in the presence of
cancers such as pheochromocytoma, neuroblastoma, and paraganglioma.
Fortunately these tumors are very rare, so most readings should be normal,
however high mortality rates in undiagnosed cases highlights the need for
accurate and rapid testing methods.
The method of choice is the Chromatographic one because it is the
ONLY METHOD
capable of separating and quantifying the 3 different Catecholamines.
